Texarkana is a city featured in the Texas and Arkansas map expansion DLCs for American Truck Simulator.
Summary
Texarkana straddles the border between Texas and Arkansas, with the state line running through the center of the city. The Texas half of the city was added to American Truck Simulator in update 1.48.[1] It was the sixth city to be added outside of the release of the base game or a map expansion after Cody was added in update 1.45.

Release History
- Texarkana was first featured in update 1.48, with the western Texas half of the city being added to the corresponding DLC.
- The release of the Arkansas map expansion added the eastern half of the city.
- In update 1.53, the Equos Power warehouse on the Arkansas side of the city was replaced by an EliMax warehouse.
Trivia
- With the release of update 1.48, Texarkana became the game's easternmost city, taking the title from Beaumont, Texas. This title would hold until the release of the Arkansas DLC, which added Jonesboro.
- The achievement Paper Trail requires the player to complete 3 deliveries of Logs to Chuck & Jack's sawmills and 3 deliveries of Wood Shavings to Page & Price Paper plants in Arkansas, both of which have locations in Texarkana.
- Before the city was added, an incomplete section of Interstate 30 (along with other roads in northeastern Texas) and the incomplete Texarkana Loop, consisting the portions of US 59, Interstate 369, Loop 151 in Texas, Arkansas Highway 151, and Interstate 49 outside the barriers of the game were discovered, all of which were eventually removed in update 1.47.[3] The city was also mentioned as part of a new "northern area" in the Texas DLC release stream by Map DLC Lead Saimon, which he had also mentioned some other areas in Texas that would not fit the release of the DLC.[4]
- Texarkana is one of two cities in American Truck Simulator which can be accessed via either of two DLCs (those being the Texas and Arkansas DLCs). The other city is Kansas City.
