Interstate 369

Interstate 369 (I-369) is a north–south auxiliary Interstate Highway of Interstate 69 in northeastern Texas in American Truck Simulator. It runs entirely within Texarkana, from US 59 and SH 93 in the western part of the city to Interstate 30 in the northwestern part, concurrent with US 59.

Along with Interstates 69E and 69W (two other auxiliary routes of I-69 branching the route), I-369 is disconnected from its parent route and has yet to meet I-69 at Tenaha in the future, as well as in real life. It is estimated to span a total length of 120 miles (190 km) once completed, which will replace a section of US 59 between Tenaha and Texarkana. Currently, only 3.5 miles (5.6 km) has been surfaced within Texarkana as of September 2023. The featured section of the road is roughly 2 miles (4 km) longer than in real life.

Course

Interstate 369 is relatively short in length, with the entire route within the city of Texarkana. The highway beings at US 59 and SH 93, with only one flyover ramp directly serving the highway from northbound US 59, and travels north across the western part of the city. I-369 terminates at an interchange with Interstate 30 (while US 59 branches off of the highway towards the east inaccessibly) in the northwestern portion of the Texarkana city limits.

Trivia

  • In the initial release of the Texas map expansion DLC, a small network of roads was discovered in the northeastern portion of the state beyond Dallas, Tyler and Longview, which also included the unfinished section of I-369 in the western limits of Texarkana, as part of Texarkana's Beltway (which the rest of the beltway was not included in update 1.48).[1] The system of roads was later removed in update 1.47.
