A country is a body of land within the continent of Europe.

Summary

Throughout the years of Euro Truck Simulator 2, Luxembourg and Slovakia were added to the game, while Spain and Portugal were omitted, as well as a major part of France and Italy. The map, on the other hand, became more detailed, and new cities were added to most countries. There are 34 countries that are accessible.

The country restriction is removed in Euro Truck Simulator 2, meaning that a fee is no longer required to gain access to other countries. The fuel price differences, however, remain.

• In Euro Truck Simulator 2, the Italian cities of Ancona, Bologna, Genova and Roma were originally planned to be included in the base game, but were omitted in the finished game due to time constraints. Those 4 cities are included in the Italia DLC instead.

• 19 October 2023: The West Balkans map expansion is released, adding Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.
