SPH 1
State Highway SPH Road 1 (SPH 1) is an east–west state highway in the central part of the Greater Houston metropolitan statistical area in eastern Texas in American Truck Simulator. It runs from Interstate 45 in Webster to SH 146 in Seabrook.
SPH 1 is the in-game designation of the real-life highway NASA Road 1. The highway in real life spans a total length of 7.474 mi (12.028 km), around 4 miles (6.44 km) shorter than the featured section in ATS.
Course
SPH 1 is a four-lane boulevard which serves as the main route to Space Park Houston, a company parody of NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. The road begins at Interstate 45 in Webster and travels east. It passes along the boundary of the Johnson Space Center and the city of Houston to the north and Nassau Bay to the south, intersecting Point Lookout Drive (inaccessible) and Saturn Lane; soon afterwards, SPH 1 crosses Clear Lake and follows the north shore of the brackish harbor in Seabrook before reaching its eastern terminus at Bayport Boulevard (SH 146).

- Prior to the release of the Texas map expansion DLC, SPH 1, along with the destinations of "SPH" and the "SPH Parkway", were signed as "NASA 1", "NASA", and "NASA Parkway" respectively (pictured in gallery). Even though the pre-release designations were exactly the same as to in real-life, they were ultimately changed to the current signage to match the rebranded in-game company Space Park Houston, which is a parody of the Johnson Space Center as part of government space agency NASA.
- SPH 1 is the only road that has been fully rebranded from its real-life counterpart, and it is the only road with an official designation beginning with a letter in American Truck Simulator.
