US 80
U.S. Route 80 (US 80) is an east–west United States Highway in northeastern Texas in American Truck Simulator. It runs from FM 1801 north of Lindale to eastern Longview.
In real life, US 80 spans a total length of 1,035 miles (1,666 km) from the Dallas–Mesquite, Texas city line to Tybee Island, Georgia.
Course
For its entire route in-game, US 80 runs parallel with Interstate 20 to the south. The highway begins at FM 1801, a connector of Loop 564, north of Lindale. It traverses through the Piney Woods region in northeastern Texas and crosses Lake Fork Creek; soon afterwards, the highway enters Longview. Within the city, the highway runs through downtown and intersects US 259 and SH 149 until it reaches its eastern terminus at the city's Taylor construction site.
