In real life, the southern terminus of the spur is at the Mexican border, spanning the total length of 2.163 miles (3.481 km). The featured section in ATS is slightly longer than in real life, with only 1 km longer and exactly 2 miles for its entire route.

Course

The southern terminus of Spur 239 is at Las Vacas Street (Spur 277) at a truck stop in the southern part of Del Rio, near the border with Mexico to the south. The spur travels north, following West Gibbs Street, between the truck stop to the east and a garage to the west, and then it begins to turn towards the east as it traces near the city's industrial area, which includes depots of Asuma and Lone Star Forwarding west of the road. The spur passes a Taylor warehouse as it enters the city center before reaching its northern terminus at the overlapped routes of US 90 and US 277, as well as the inaccessible Spur 297, at Veteran's Boulevard.
