US 59 Business
Business U.S. Highway 59-G (Bus. US 59-G) is a business route of US 59 in Lufkin, Texas in American Truck Simulator. The road is separated into two sections: The first section is situated at the junction of US 59 and Loop 287 south of the city. The second section is situated at the junction of US 59, US 69, and Loop 287 north of the city.
Bus. US 59-G is the only special route of US 59 in ATS and is only accessible with the Texas map expansion DLC. In real life, Bus. US 59-G passes through the downtown area of Lufkin, running 4.553 miles (7.327 km) for its entire length, 6.447 miles (or 9.673 km) less than the two separate sections in-game.
Course
Bus. US 59-G begins at the southern portions of exit 390 on US 59 and traces to the north, running under a flyover ramp carrying US 59 southbound, and approaches its junction with Loop 287 in Lufkin, where the first section of the road ends. Up north of Lufkin, the designated road resumes at the junction of US 69 and Loop 287. The road continues to trace to the north until it reaches its northern terminus at the northern portions of exit 386 of the same US Route from the beginning; US 59.
