Photo Trophy: American Truck Simulator

Photo trophy is a mechanic that was added in update 1.46. There are a total of 139 photo trophies in American Truck Simulator.

Summary

If you drive close enough to the photo trophy, enter the photo mode and point the camera at a certain object. The lens of the camera icon will glow a yellow color, and the name of the photo trophy appears below. After taking a photo of it, a notification will appear, and in the gallery of photo trophies, the darkened image that is there by default will be replaced with a picture taken by the player. The icon on the map will also change from white to yellow and indicate that the photo trophy has been taken.

• In update 1.46, photo trophies were introduced into American Truck Simulator, with 64 new photo trophies being spread across the base game and map expansions.
• The release of the Texas map expansion on November 15, 2022 featured 14 new photo trophies.
• The release of the Oklahoma map expansion on August 1, 2023 featured 11 new photo trophies.
• The release of the Kansas map expansion on November 30, 2023 featured 10 new photo trophies.
• In update 1.50, 3 additional photo trophies were added to California as part of the third phase of the California rework.
• The release of the Nebraska map expansion on May 16, 2024 featured 10 new photo trophies.
• The release of the Arkansas map expansion on September 16, 2024 featured 11 new photo trophies.
• In update 1.53, 6 additional photo trophies were added to California as part of the fourth phase of the California rework.
• The release of the Missouri map expansion on April 3, 2025 featured 10 new photo trophies.
