A gas station or petrol station is a structure where one can refuel their vehicle in American Truck Simulator.

Description

Fuel is essential for trucks, therefore gas stations are present from the very first SCS games.

American Truck Simulator features in-town gas stations together with highway service stops (more on the latter can be viewed on the truck stops page). Many gas stations offer a resting area for the trucker to park if the fatigue simulation is active. In addition, some gas stations accept cargo deliveries. American Truck Simulator contains the following major gas pump brands:

At a gas station, the player drives towards a green icon in the fuel pump area, from which they stop their engine and pay to refuel their truck. Fuel prices mary vary from state to state, as illustrated in the table below. To get lower gas prices, the player may upgrade any one of their garages to a large one, which installs a gas pump in the garage with 15% cheaper fuel prices than the state it is located in.
