Astoria is a city featured in the Oregon map expansion DLC for American Truck Simulator.
Summary
Astoria is a port town at the south banks of the Columbia, where it meets the Pacific Ocean. In-game, the player visits the quaint downtown area, from where the famous Astoria–Megler Bridge is visible.

Release History
- In update 1.33, a rest stop was added by the junction of US 30 and US 101.
- In update 1.40, a viewpoint was added at the rest stop near the Astoria–Megler Bridge.
- In update 1.46, a photo trophy of the Astoria–Megler Bridge was added.
- In update 1.53, the Voltison Motors dealership and warehouse were replaced by a Lumenauto dealership and Apade warehouse, respectively.
Trivia
- With the release of the Oregon DLC, Astoria became the game's southernmost city, taking the title from Jackpot, Nevada. This title would hold until the release of the Washington DLC, which added Bellingham.
- Astoria was first mentioned in the blog post on April 24th 2018.[1] A map developer is also shown to be working on it in the "KRONE Visits SCS" video.[2]
- The achievement Uplifting requires the player to drive across the New Youngs Bay Bridge.
- The achievement Lumberjack requires the player to deliver cargo from all five Deepgrove timber harvest sites in Oregon, one of which is in Astoria.
