The following is a glossary of the Terminology used throughout American Truck Simulator.

Official Terminology

Quick Job: Truck rented to operator.
Freight Market: Operator owned Truck
Cargo Market: Operator owned Truck and Trailer
Convoy: Multiplayer
Trucks: Vehicles that haul the trailers.
Trailers: Containers or Flatbeds that transport cargo.
Truck + Trailer: Semi-trailer truck, eighteen-wheeler, big rig, tractor-trailer, semitrailer

States: United States has 50 states, all follow Federal Laws/Regulations, but each one can have their own State specific laws.
Provinces: In relation to ProMods: Canada, provinces are countries/states within a country.
