A Truck Stop in American Truck Simulator is an area near or on a major road with many amenities for truckers.
Summary
All truck stops contain gas pumps and one or multiple rest stops, and feature a diner or convenience store as cosmetic detail. Unlike normal standalone gas stations or rest stops, truck stops are typically much larger and have separate areas for trucks and passenger vehicles. Some larger truck stops also feature a scale and/or a service shop.
In addition, a select few truck stops around the map serve as company depots which can receive (but not send) cargo deliveries. Truck stop companies include:

- The achievement Truck Stop Tour requires you to visit all truck stops and major rest stops in New Mexico.
Release History
- In update 1.38, all truck stops got a major upgrade and dual side fueling was implemented, allowing truckers to fuel from either side of the gas pumps.
- In update 1.45, all truck stops were given new, custom brands corresponding to real-life truck stop companies.
