This location-related Truck Simulator Wiki article includes a map image that is outdated and obsolete due to recent in-game updates with changes to the surrounding area of the map.
By any chance, you can upload an updated version of the map image, edit and update it in this article (unless it will be used temporarily), or you can notify the wiki for the map to be updated.
Reason: Obsolete due to West Balkans and update 1.50: The map needs to be updated with access points to Slovenia and Switzerland.
Austria's terrain is highly mountainous. Only 32% of the country's area of 83,879 square km is below 500 metres. Its capital city is Vienna. The Arlberg Road Tunnel with a length of 13,976 metres is Austria's longest road tunnel and the 5th longest road tunnel in the world.
There are 27 State Roads (German: Landesstraßen) in Austria featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2. These roads were signed as part of the Austria rework in update 1.44. Most were formerly known as Bundesstraßen (hence the "B" prefix), being managed by the federal government until being transferred to state control in 2002. The sole in-game exception to this convention is the L397, which was never under federal control, and never used the "B" prefix.
Following the conclusion of the Revisiting Germany project in update 1.40, Austria was revealed to be the subject of the next major map rework, being much more ambitious and extensive than the previous reworks of Germany. The full rebuild would be released in update 1.44.
