Salzburg, Austria, is a city best known as the beautiful backdrop to Academy Award winning musical, “The Sound of Music” and as the birthplace of one of the greatest composers in history, Mozart. As a city steeped in tradition and surrounded by nature, it is a modern cultural centre in the heart of Europe.

Depots
EuroGoodies, Sanbuilders, and Transinet have depots in the city, and a EuroAcres farm is just outside the city to the south. In addition, a Stein Bruch quarry is to the south of the Salzburg, near the intersection of two minor roads.
The known landmarks of Salzburg that can be found in the game are the Hohensalzburg castle, the Salzach river and several churches: The Salzburg Cathedral, the Church of Christ, the Collegiate Church and the Franciscan Church.
Salzburg is located at the A1. Two main roads from the city connect directly to the A1, on which one can reach München, Germany to the northwest and Linz and Wien to the east. In addition, a minor road starts in Salzburg, running towards Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. Another minor road branches off of this one and links it with A12 near Innsbruck.
