Serbia (Serbian: Србија, Srbija) is a country in southeastern Europe that is featured in the West Balkans map expansion DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

The country is bordered by Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, Croatia to the northwest, Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, and Montenegro to the southwest.

Internally, Serbia is split into three regions: The Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the north, Serbia proper in the center, and the semi-independent disputed territory of Kosovo to the southwest. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, Kosovo is categorized as a separate country, but depicted on the world map with a dashed border to indicate its disputed status.

Serbia is a land of breathtaking natural beauty and rich history. With a land area of 88,361 square kilometers, Serbia is one of the largest countries in the Balkans, offering visitors a wealth of diverse experiences. The country boasts an extensive road network of around 45,000 kilometers, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore stunning landscapes and local industries.

Roads

All roads in Serbia are officially designated as State Roads (Serbian: Државни путеви), and are split into their own distinct classes depending on road capacity and speed limits. There are currently three classes of road depicted in-game:

  • Class IA (Serbian: IА реда): Roads marked with an "A" prefix.
  • Class IB (Serbian: IB реда): Roads which have a two-digit identifier.
  • Class IIA (Serbian: IIA реда): Roads which have a three-digit identifier.

Functionally, Class IA roads are equivalent to motorways in other countries, while Class IB/IIA roads are essentially the same, being low-capacity state roads.
