European Route E55 is a Class-A north-south European reference road spanning central Europe, running through Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, and Greece. Despite its length, the in-game route is almost completely contiguous, with the exception of small portions in Italy and Greece.

The E55 also refers to a very short road in Denmark, connecting the E47 with Gedser. It was introduced to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 map in the Scandinavia DLC.

In real-life, the E55 continues further south of Bari to the city of Brindisi, and then onwards into Greece. The E55 briefly enters Igoumenitsa before turning south along an unrendered road before joining the A5.
