B3 (Austria)

The Landesstraße B3 (also known as the Danube Road) is a state road crossing northeastern Austria that is split into two sections: one running from central Linz along the Danube river to Krems an der Donau, and one running from Stockerau through northern Wien to the town of Engelhartstetten near the border with Slovakia. The route was added to Euro Truck Simulator 2 as part of the Austria rework in update 1.44. In-game, the route is rendered in three sections:

• One within the town of Mauthausen east of Linz
• One within Stockerau, providing access to the town from the S1
• One east of Wien, connecting the A23/S1 to Wolfsthal and the border with Slovakia

Trivia

• Signage along the section of road between Wolfsthal and the Slovak border indicates it as part of the B6, which in real-life is located far north of Wien and nowhere near Wolfsthal. If it was accurate to real-life, this section of road should be signed as part of the B9.
