Sweden is one of the three countries of Scandinavia with the highest number of cities featured. The country is bordered by Norway to the west and north, Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest via the Øresund Bridge. In the game, the country is notable for the near-realistic highway junctions, as well as the large city footprint and the wide variety of industries.

With the land area of 450,295 square km, Sweden has 162,707 km of paved road and 1,428 km of expressways. About 15% of the country lies north of the Arctic Circle. Swedish capital city Stockholm is famous for its metro - the stations are full of modern art.
Sweden contains 5 European Routes (Swedish: Europaväg) in ETS2. Sweden officially designates thesse motorways as National Roads using the same number as the Euroroute, but only signs these roads using the Euroroute icons.
Sweden uses the National Road (Swedish: Riksväg) designation for roads and motorways. Upon the initial release of the Scandinavia DLC, Sweden, alongside Norway and Denmark, exclusively signed their roads using the Euroroute icons, with no National Road numbering system. However, this has since been changed, and now ETS2 has incorporated National Road signage alongside the Euroroutes in Sweden. National Roads are numbered according to how north they are, with larger numbers generally appearing further north. There are currently 17 signed National Roads in Sweden:
