Nürnberg (English: Nuremberg) is a city located in southern Germany, it is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Features

Depots

Nürnberg can be divided into three parts which only few are directly connected among themselves (from north to south):

• In the northern part of the city in Erlangen, there is a TREE-ET sawmill.
• In the city center, there are the depots of AI Automotive, Kathode, Sanbuilders and SellPlan.
• In the southern part of the city, there are the depots of CNP, DFH, LKW and RTLOG.

Facilities

Facilities are a gas station, a garage, a recruitment agency and a large Volvo truck dealer with a service shop. In addition, there is a viewpoint showing city proper and a photo trophy of the Nürnberg Opera House.

Between the city center and Erlangen, a rest stop is located on the A73.

Depots

Nürnberg has a fairly abundant collection of facilities. Sanbuilders, Stokes and Trameri have depots there, as well as an EuroAcres farm nearby.

In addition to the usual garage, hotel and service shop, there's also a recruitment agency and a small Volvo truck dealer in Nürnberg. On the access to the EuroAcres farm there's even a gas station.

Landmarks

The Business Tower, the St. Lorenz church and the St. Sebaldus church are modeled in the game to make truckers recognize the city.

Connections

The city is connected by the A3, the A6 and the A9.

• The A3 goes west towards Frankfurt am Main and southeast towards Linz.
• The A6 goes west towards Stuttgart and east towards Praha.
• The A9 goes northeast towards Leipzig / Berlin and south towards München.

Originally, the game map around Nürnberg inherits the simplistic layout from German Truck Simulator, with the A9 running to the city's west (instead of east in real-life), and the A6 between the A9 and the A3 missing.

In update 1.35, the city was rebuilt. The city center itself is relatively the same, but the outside has been completely rebuilt, with all three main Autobahnen laid out closer to real-life, as well as the EuroAcres being relocated to the west of the city. A section of A73 was added as the city's main access, as well as a direct connection towards Erfurt.

History

• It was then fully rebuilt in update 1.47.
• It has been rebuilt in update 1.35.
• Nürnberg has been reworked in update 1.32.
