Euro Truck Simulator 2: Scandinavia is a map expansion DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It was the second major map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (being released on May 6, 2015), and it costs $17.99, £13.49, €17,99.
The DLC adds Denmark and the southern portions of Norway and Sweden. The expansion also features new ferry terminals connecting the expansion area to Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom.

DLC Features
Improved daylight cycle and weather visuals.

The Scandinavia DLC brings 26 new cities to Euro Truck Simulator 2. One more city, Kapellskär, was added in update 1.33. The capitals of the countries are marked in bold.
Daylight Usage Mandatory was introduced with the Scandinavia DLC, and means that if a country has this law in play, the player must turn on headlights to low-beam, otherwise getting booked.
Release History
After the release of the DLC, SCS reskinned Scandinavia to follow their current standards and match with the Nordic Horizons DLC, which expands Norway and Sweden that are also a parts of this DLC.
Upcoming: Future update fully reskins Scandinavia to follow SCS Software's current standards and match with the Nordic Horizons DLC. A live stream on 19 December 2024 revealed the DLC reskin.[2] See Reskin.

Reskin
During the 2024 Christmas Livestream, SCS Software revealed that the team is working on the Scandinavia DLC reskin project and showed some work-in-progress screenshots to reflect current mapping standards and match with the upcoming Nordic Horizons DLC that adds new areas of Sweden and Norway which are also a part of this map expansion, mostly focused on adding some places and adding major Denmark locations that were missing from the original game, including the city of Aarhus, second largest city of the country. Some of the locations in Norway and Sweden will also be revamped and rehashed.[2] The reskin was officially announced on 14 January 2025 with more info revealed - reskin of materials and vegetation, road textures, various assets, adding a few rest stops and fuel stations and updating road network. The rework of København, the capital city of Denmark, was also confirmed.[18]
