A23 (Italy)
The Autostrada A23 is the easternmost Italian highway featured in Euro Truck Simulator (ETS 1) and Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS 2). In ETS2, the road was added in game version 1.11. The A23 serves the connection between the A4 near Venezia and the Austrian border. The A23 is also known as Autostrada Alpe-Adria.
The A23 is part of Euroroute E55, and serves as the connection between Italy and Austria proper, especially in Euro Truck Simulator 2, where the A23 forms the main route between Italy and most Austrian cities (except Innsbruck).
No accessible city is situated along the A23. Trieste and Venezia in Italy and Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Austria are the two cities closest to the Autostrada.
Much of the A23 is tolled along with the easternmost section of Autostrada A4. The fee for a trucker to go through this section is €16.
