E71

European Route E71 is a Class-A intermediate north-south European road. It begins in Košice, Slovakia and passes through Hungary and Croatia before turning south, ending at Split. The E71 was first introduced in the Going East! DLC, and the Croatian section of the route was added in West Balkans DLC.

Route Description

In real life, the E71 is a continuous route going from Košice, Slovakia to Split, Croatia. From Košice, the route heads southeast through central Hungary and Croatia, passing through the capital cities of Budapest and Zagreb. The route then bends southwest, following the Croatian Adriatic coastline until the route terminates at the city of Split.

In-game, instead of continuing along the motorway into Croatia, truckers must instead exit onto the M70 and follow a minor road through a border crossing before rejoining the E71 in Croatia.
