Rostock is a city located in northern Germany that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Rostock consists of a central part in the city center, and a northern harbour area. The center contains a Marina and a SellPlan depot. The harbour features depots for DFH, RTLOG, Subse, and Vitas Power.
Rostock features 3 companies: ITCC, SellPlan, and Tradeaux.
Bundesautobahnen A19 and A20 meet southeast of Rostock. The A19 heads south to Berlin, whereas the A20 goes west to Hamburg via the A1.
Two new roads were added as a part of the Rostock rework in update 1.48: the B103 and the B105. The B103 provides access to Rostock from the A20 in the west, while the B105 crosses northern Rostock, connecting the B103 to the A19 and providing access to the harbour area of Rostock where truckers can access the ferry service to Gedser and Trelleborg.
Also due to update 1.48, Rostock became the first base game city to feature an inner-city toll gate, being located on the B105 at the eastern portal of the Warnowtunnel. If truckers do not want to pay this toll, they can instead use a road to the south which passes through the city center.
To the east, the B110 branches off of the A19 at the town of Neu Roggentin, running southeast from Rostock to the A11 near Polish border via the B198.Bundesautobahnen A19 and A20 meet southeast of Rostock. The A19 heads south to Berlin and north to the ferry to Gedser and Trelleborg, whereas the A20 goes west to Hamburg via the A1. While Rostock is only directly connected by major roads to the A20, there is a minor road which provides access to Rostock from the A19, and which also extends further east to the A11 near the Polish border.
With the release of the Scandinavia DLC, seaport facilities were added north of Rostock, making the city become one of the most important access points to the new destinations. If a trucker does not have the Going East DLC enabled, Rostock is, in fact, the easternmost access point towards Scandinavia.
Two ferry services are available at Rostock. One heads for Gedser, Denmark while the other goes to Trelleborg, Sweden.
