Rostock is a city located in northern Germany that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Features

Depots

Originally, the city featured 3 companies: ITCC, SellPlan, and Tradeaux. In 1.48, the ITCC and Tradeaux depots were removed as a part of the Rostock rework, and 5 new companies were added. Currently, Rostock consists of two main parts: A southern part (original), and northern part (added in 1.48). The southern part features an original SellPlan depot and a newly added Marina. The northern part features the DFH, Subse, Vitas Power, and RTLOG depots and ferry lines to Gedser and Trelleborg.

Facilities

Rostock contains a garage, service shop, a small Renault truck dealer, a gas station, and a viewpoint.

Connections

Bundesautobahnen A19 and A20 meet near Rostock. The A19 heads to Berlin and further to the south, whereas the A20 leads truckers to Hamburg and further to the west, with A1 taking over after a short distance.

To the east, Bundestraße Germany B110 icon.png runs from Rostock to A11, which crosses the German-Polish border to reach Szczecin.

In 1.48 update, the road network of Rostock was recasted as a part of the general city rework, and two new roads (Bundestraße Germany B103 icon.png and Germany B105 icon.png) were added to complete the road network. The Germany B103 icon.png starts at the intersection with A20 and runs parallel to the A19, but is located further west. The toll road Germany B105 icon.png serves as an extension of A19 after the exit to Überseehafen (northern part of the city). Germany B105 icon.png and Germany B103 icon.png meet at an interchange north-west of the city, which serves as the end point for both roads, and together with A19 form a ring road around Rostock.

Rostock also features an unnumbered road that runs between Germany B103 icon.png and A19 through the southern part of the city and serves as a frontage road for Germany B105 icon.png. Before the city rework in 1.48, this road started at A20, following the path of Germany B103 icon.png, and after the junction with A19 continued as the aforementioned Germany B110 icon.png to Szczecin.

Port of Rostock

With the release of the Scandinavia DLC, seaport facilities were added north of Rostock, making the city become one of the most important access points to the new destinations. If a trucker does not have the Going East DLC enabled, Rostock is, in fact, the easternmost access point towards Scandinavia.

Two ferry services are available at Rostock. One heads for Gedser, Denmark while the other goes to Trelleborg, Sweden.
