The E39 is a road in Norway and Denmark, generally running in the north-south direction. It is introduced to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 map in the Scandinavia DLC.

The game map features the southern part of the route. In real life the E39 goes from Trondheim to Aalborg. The part between Trondheim and Stavanger is missing.

This road is mostly a minor road with many junctions and roundabouts and that's why the E39 is a very special Euroroute.
