European Route E79 is a Class-A intermediate north-south European road. The route starts at along the M30 in northeastern Hungary and goes south through western Romania and Bulgaria. In real-life, the route continues further south into Greece. The route was initially introduced in the Going East! DLC and was expanded with the Road to the Black Sea DLC.

In real-life, the E79 turns off of the DN1 and follows a more southwesterly path to DN66.

In real-life, the E79 continues to follow the I1 east until reaching the A2.

In real-life, the E79 continues south into Greece.

*This Hungarian section of E79 is unmarked in game, both in terms of local road signage and Euroroute signage. If the section was to be signed accurately, it would be Main Road 42 until it reaches the Romanian border.
