U.S. Route 491 (US 491) is a north–south US Highway in northwestern New Mexico, southwestern Colorado, and southeastern Utah in American Truck Simulator. It runs from Interstate 40 in Gallup to US 191 in Monticello.

History
- In the initial version of the New Mexico map DLC, the section of US 491 from Interstate 40 in Gallup to US 64 in Shiprock was added.
- In the initial version of the Utah map expansion DLC, the junction of US 191 and an inaccessible US 491 in Monticello was added.
- In update 1.38, the concurrency with US 64 and an at-grade three-way junction at the north end of the concurrency were added.
- In the initial version of the Colorado map expansion DLC, the section of US 491 from US 64 in Shiprock to US 191 in Monticello was added.
