There are a number of special routes of U.S. Route 70 (US 70) that connects US 70 to downtown areas, bypass city centers, or provide alternate routes around an area.

US 70 features two different sections of special routes (one bypass route and one truck route) in American Truck Simulator. They are located in the cities of Roswell and Idabel respectively.

U.S. Route 70 Bypass (US 70 Byp.) heads along the southern and eastern sides of Idabel in southeastern Oklahoma. It begins at an MWM waste transfer station west of its junction with US 259, which the latter follows a concurrency.

In real life, US 70 Byp. spans a total length of 9.2 miles (14.8 km).[1] The featured section is 4.8 miles (7.2 km) longer than in real life.

Trivia

  • At the rendered western terminus of the Idabel bypass route, one of the route markers is mislabeling the road as State Highway 70B (SH-70B), which is in fact exactly similar to as in real life. To avoid confusion, there is a state highway with the same number as the bypass route that has the "B" suffixed letter, which functions as a spur route of US 70.
