Modesto is a city in California featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator.

Summary

Modesto replaced Oakdale in update 1.50 as part of the third phase of the California rework. It and San Jose were the seventh and eighth cities to be added outside of the release of the base game or a map expansion after Texarkana was added in update 1.48. The addition was announced on SCS Software's blog on 21 March 2023.^{^[1]}

Connections

The CA99 runs south towards Fresno and Los Angeles (the latter city via I-5) and north to Stockton and Sacramento.
The CA108 runs north to CA 120.
The CA132 and Hatch Road run west towards the Bushnell Farms, Calimondo, and Sunshine Crops depots.

The CA120 intersects CA 99 north of Modesto and runs west towards Oakland and San Francisco (the latter cities via I-5, IS205, IS580, and the latter city also via the IS80) and intersects CA 108 north of Modesto and runs east through Yosemite National Park towards Lee Vining (via the USCA395) and Tonopah, Nevada (via the USCA6).
The CA152 runs west from CA 99 south of Modesto towards the IS5, Gilroy, and Santa Cruz (the latter city via the CA1).
Avenue 24 intersects CA 99 south of Modesto and runs east towards Bitumen, Bushnell Farms, and Mon Coeur depots shown as part of Fresno.

Release History

In update 1.50, Modesto was added to the game, replacing Oakdale.
In update 1.53, the Charged warehouse and Wallbert food market were replaced by a Venture warehouse and Shop Town market, respectively
