Release History
- In the initial version of American Truck Simulator, Richmond was only accessed by Interstate 580 and featured a Gallon Oil refinery and an HMS Machinery service shop , shown as part of San Rafael, and a toll gate on westbound Interstate 580 with a rest stop for eastbound traffic. Interstate 580 terminated at an at-grade three-way junction with CA 4 just southeast of Richmond.
- In update 1.5, as part of the 1:35 to 1:20 map rescale, Interstate 80 through Richmond and its half-trumpet interchange with Interstate 580 were added. CA 4 was rebuilt and its diamond interchanges with Interstate 80 and Interstate 580 were added.
- In update 1.44, as part of the second phase of the California rework, Richmond was completely reworked. Richmond Parkway was added, and CA 4 through Richmond and its diamond interchanges with Interstate 80 and Interstate 580 were removed. The Gallon Oil refinery was replaced by a Chemso oil depot, and the rest stop by the toll gate was removed. The companies in Richmond became shown as part of Oakland as San Rafael was removed as a city.
- In update 1.46, a viewpoint was added near the HMS Machinery service shop.
- In update 1.50, as part of the third phase of the California rework, the Chemso oil depot was changed back to a Gallon Oil refinery.
