Berkeley was an unsigned, inaccessible scenery town in California featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator. It was located in the San Francisco Bay Area in the northwestern part of the state, on Interstate 80 and Interstate 580 east of San Francisco, north of Oakland, and west of Stockton.
Connections
- The
ran west to Oakland and San Francisco and northeast to Vallejo and Sacramento.

ran northwest towards Richmond, Ukiah, and Eureka (the latter cities via the
) and southeast to Oakland, concurrent with I-80.
Release History
- In update 1.5, as part of the 1:35 to 1:20 map rescale, Berkeley was added.
- In update 1.50, as part of the third phase of the California rework, Berkeley was removed.
Trivia
There was a visible sign that said "CITY LIMIT: OAKLAND." Berkeley was not marked on the map nor could the interior city be accessed. From the freeway, University Avenue exit could be taken, but one could not enter the city. It was therefore a scenery town.
