Oakland is a city in the San Francisco Bay Area in California featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator.
Oakland was also featured in the first SCS Software game: Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel, as part of San Francisco. Oakland is located just east of San Francisco and northeast of San Jose.
“ | The Oakland port is what this city is important for in the real world ... The downtown, full of tall skyscrapers, is connected to the port by a winding series of underpasses under the railroad and the highway. This connection and multi-level traffic arrangement offers unique views and adds to the character of the area. | ” |
