For the city in the same location prior to update 1.44, see San Rafael (city).

San Rafael is an inaccessible scenery town and former city in California featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator.

Summary

It is located in the San Francisco Bay Area in the northwestern part of the state, at the junction of Interstate 580 and US 101 north of San Francisco. The scenery town replaced the city in the same location in update 1.44 as part of the second phase of the California rework.

Connections

In addition, the CA37 runs east from US 101 in Novato north of San Rafael towards Napa Valley (via the CA121) and Sacramento (via the IS80).

Release History

For the pre-1.44 history, see San Rafael (city)#History.
  • In update 1.50, as part of the third phase of the California rework, US 101 on the south side of San Rafael was rebuilt and expanded to six lanes, and an inaccessible northbound exit to Spencer Avenue and Monte Mar Drive was added.
