Release History
- In the initial version of American Truck Simulator, Arcata was located at a diamond interchange of US 101 and CA 299 and an at-grade three-way junction of CA 299 and North Road and featured a GP gas station at the junction of CA 299 and North Road and a rest area on North Road.
- In update 1.31, the diamond interchange of US 101 and CA 299 was changed to a trumpet interchange.
- In update 1.41, as part of the first phase of the California rework, the at-grade three-way junction of CA 299 and North Road was changed to an at-grade four-way junction as Blue Lake was removed and the Darchelle Uzau vineyard there was moved to a new extension of North Road. The GP gas station was replaced by a Gallon Oil gas station with an unloading point on North Road. CA 299 was widened to four lanes and the surrounding area reworked.
- In update 1.44, as part of the second phase of the California rework, Arcata was partially reworked. North Road was renamed Myrtle Avenue south of CA 299 and Fieldbrook Road north of CA 299. The Darchelle Uzau vineyard was removed, and a Deepgrove timber harvest site north of the town and a Plaster & Sons house construction site south of the town were added along with connecting minor roads. The Gallon Oil gas station and the rest area were replaced by a Chemron gas station with a rest area, and a service shop.
