Euro Truck Simulator 2: West Balkans is a map expansion DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is the eighth map of DLC involving map expansions. It was released on October 19, 2023 and it costs $17.99, £13.49, €17.99.

Summary

The DLC adds 8 new countries of the Western Balkans region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia).

Trivia

West Balkans was released one day later after the 11th Anniversary of Euro Truck Simulator 2.
West Balkans is the DLC featuring the highest number of countries so far at eight countries, surpassing Beyond the Baltic Sea.
West Balkans is the first map DLC that does not add a new northernmost, southernmost, easternmost or westernmost city to the game.
West Balkans is the first map DLC since Going East! whose logo does not include the flags of the featured countries.
For early adopters of the DLC, having a profile connected to your World of Trucks account and making any delivery using the External Contracts or External Market to or from the city Podgorica will earn a Hermann's tortoise plush toy.^[4]

SCS Software first hinted about the DLC in a blog post to celebrate of the Easter Day posted on 15 April 2022. After that, SCS released information about the DLC in their blog, at about one blog post per month:
