Erfurt is a city in central Germany that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

Erfurt was reskinned in update 1.32, reworked in update 1.35, and completely rebuilt in update 1.47.

Located in the heart of Germany, Erfurt is a city with a rich history. To ensure the preservation of the historic city, a majority of the roads in the centre are not accessible for larger LKW vehicles. Because of this, our team has been focusing on creating the northern area of Erfurt.

Landmarks

Compared to before update 1.47, Erfurt barely has any recognizable landmarks due to the playable area being an industrial quarter located north of the city's core in real-life. As such, the only major landmark is the Thüringen Park shopping center. The several nondescript housing blocks in-game match the layouts of the residential developments of Berliner Platz, Moskauer Platz, and Roter Berg in real-life.

Connections

The B4 and a minor road provide access to the city from the A71.

Release History

  • In update 1.47, Erfurt was completely rebuilt.
