Osnabrück is a city located in north-western Germany that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

It is one of the three German cities not introduced in the earlier German Truck Simulator (the others are Kassel, Mannheim and Travemünde, which was added in {{Update|ETS2|1.32}).

Features

Depots

EuroGoodies, SellPlan and Transinet have depots in the city. An EuroAcres farm is located slightly to the west.

Facilities

Facilities available in Osnabrück include a garage, a hotel, a service shop and a small Volvo truck dealer.

Landmarks

Several landmark buildings in Osnabrück are rendered in-game, including the Iduna Tower, the Port and the three churches of St. Catherine, St. Mary and St. Peter.

Connections

Osnabrück sits between the A1 and the A2. A main road from the city connects directly to the A1, while a minor road links the two Autobahnen and connects to the northern approach of the city.

Truckers following the A1 can reach Bremen and Hamburg to the north, or Dortmund and Frankfurt am Main (via the A45 and the A5). The A2 leads truckers to Hannover, Magdeburg and eventually Berlin.

In addition, A30 branches off the A1 near Osnabrück. This autobahn provides an alternative connection to the western German cities (Duisburg, Dusseldorf and Köln), but its main destination is the Netherlands, the next country to the west.
