Leipzig is a city located in central-eastern Germany that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

Leipzig was reworked in update 1.32, and then fully rebuilt in update 1.53.

Arts, culture, music and more, Leipzig has it all! Whilst a relatively small city, there is still plenty for truckers to explore here, including a variety of historical landmarks, including the Opera House, which was opened in 1693, the University of Leipzig, which is one of the world's oldest universities and the the Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Train Station), which at the time of its opening was one of the largest in the world!

The B181 and an extension of the A38 provide access to Leipzig from the A9.

Release History

  • In update 1.32, Leipzig was reworked during phase one of the Revisiting Germany project. The two access points into Leipzig from the A9 were changed from trumpet interchanges into one full and one partial cloverleaf interchange. In addition, the internal road layout of the city was significantly changed.
  • In update 1.35, the A38 was added to the game, although this only minorly affected Leipzig.
  • In update 1.53, Leipzig was completely rebuilt.
