Photo trophy is a mechanic that available in both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. It was added in update 1.46.
Summary
If you drive close enough to the photo trophy, enter the photo mode and point the camera at a certain object. The lens of the camera icon will glow a yellow color, and the name of the photo trophy appears below. After taking a photo of it, a notification will appear, and in the gallery of photo trophies, the darkened image that is there by default will be replaced with a picture taken by the player. The icon on the map will also change from white to yellow and indicate that the photo trophy has been taken.
