Kassel is a city located in central Germany that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

Kassel is one of six German cities featured exclusively in Euro Truck Simulator 2, without appearing in earlier SCS truck simulator games (the other five are Mannheim, Osnabrück, Travemünde (added in update 1.33), Werlte (added in update 1.45) and Winsen (added in update 1.48). Kassel was reworked in update 1.32.

The city is lightly industrialized, with only BCP and Tradeaux having depots there.

Usual structures like a garage, a hotel, and a service shop are present in the city, as well as a recruitment agency.

Landmarks

The known landmarks of Kassel rendered in-game include the Habichtswald Telecommunications Tower, the Fulda River, the Hercules Monument, Luther's Church, St. Martin's Church, and the Kassel Lock.

Connections

The A7 is the city's primary connection, running along the east side towards Hannover to the north and Frankfurt am Main to the south. The city is connected to the A7 by the Germany B7 icon.png, and the Germany B251 icon.png goes west from Kassel towards Dortmund.
