Travemünde is a port town located in northern Germany, which is part of Lübeck.
Summary
Travemünde, together with Kapellskär, were the third cities to be added outside of the release of the base game or a map expansion after two cities (Pécs and Szeged in Hungary) were added in update 1.19. Prior to the release of the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC, its new directions in the game were first shown in a live stream of SCS Software. In update 1.33 it features ferry connections with Latvia and Finland. Travemünde has been rebuilt in the 1.48 update.[1]
Features
Travemünde is divided into two regions, split by the Trave River. On the northwest is Travemünde city center, and to the southeast are the small localities of Priwall and Pötenitz. The two regions are connected by a short ferry, although truckers can opt to simply go around via A20.
Depots
A Marina and RTLOG depot are located on the north side near the international ferry terminal. On the south side, a EuroAcres farm is located near the town of Pötenitz.
Facilities
All facilities are housed on the north side of the city, consisting of a rest stop and a recruitment agency. There is an international ferry service to Liepāja and Helsinki, and a river ferry service across the Trave River.

Connections
Travemünde's primary access point is from the A1 via the , which leads west to Hamburg. Heading north, the connects Travemünde to Kiel. To the south, a short ferry crossing conencts Travemünde to the neighboring town of Priwall, from where truckers can take the south to the A20. From here, the minor road continues further south to Magdeburg, while the A20 extends west towards Hamburg and east to Rostock.
In terms of roads, Travemünde is only accessible via a minor road connecting Kiel in the north to the A20 in the south. From the A20, truckers can either go east to Rostock, west towards Hamburg, or continue south down a minor road to Magdeburg.
Travemünde serves as an important ferry connection to the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC, as if a player buys the DLC without any other addons, there would be no connection to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 base map. This city has ferry connections to Liepāja and Helsinki.

Travemünde in 1.32. However, you can't get all the features here (Resting, Job Offer, Ferry Connections) because this port wasn't the part of the map.
The entrance of Travemünde was barred off in 1.32. This is also applied in 1.33, if players don't own the Beyond The Baltic Sea DLC because this port has the only connections to Liepāja and Helsinki.
