My name is Geomodelrailroader and I am a hobby gamer. I have edited several wikis some I even had to take over because the administrator quit. I like train watching, building models, collecting rocks and minerals (which is where I got my name), and writing.

We Are Moving

Tech had come to the decision to leave our Fandom site and move to Wiki GG with me being promoted to Radio Stream Content Editor. I knew this would come as a shock but it was the surprise present that Tech made the announcement about the move. I'm not going away just moving to a new wiki you will still see my videos on YouTube and I will have plenty of music for my fellow truckers.

My History with SCS Software Games

I started playing SCS games in 2015 before that I played games for Valu Soft and 1C Games going as far back as the THQ days on the PlayStation and N64 plus several hours on GameCube. When THQ went bust I switched to playing Valu Soft truck games with the first being The Original Hard Truck and Rig and Roll. Because of a Russian embargo their sequels were canceled and I played 18 Wheels of Steel and I have the Montana and Ice Roads expansion. I still have the original games on Steam but I keep their disk in storage as mementos. I returned to SCS games in 2017 after four years of playing Train Simulator the first DLC I bought was Arizona and New Mexico six months later. In 2020 during COVID I acquired Euro Truck Simulator 2 and opened up shop in Glasgow Scotland So far my company GEAR has managed to get out of debt and I plan to expand and head into Europe. Because of the war in Ukraine my plans for Russia are on hold but I will acquire it at a later date. I am enjoying the West Balkans DLC and made my first load to Novi Sad, Serbia on October 20, 2023. My plans are to get into Kosovo and head east to Turkey hoping to get to Istanbul by November. GEAR has finally made it into Europe and we have relocated our offices for the time being to Bern, Switzerland with plans to expand as our company grows and more countries are explored.

American Truck Simulator

I started out in ATS in 2017 before that I played 18 Wheels of Steel Extreme Trucker 2. ATS is my return to SCS games and I have been here ever since. I own six companies in ATS two are for testing a fourth is used as a backup profile and three are my primary profile. These companies are Aurora Trucking, ATS Transport, ATS Industries, Fusion Express, Insight, Union Transport, and Falcon Transport. Aurora Trucking was founded in 2017 in Los Angeles California This company is undergoing a name change it will be rebranded Fusion Express and will use the Fusion logos from the Retrowave Paint Jobs Pack but will still be owned by Aurora. The existing Aurora profile will be started from scratch in Denver since that is company headquarters. While most of the trucks will be painted for Aurora all the heavy trucks will be painted for Hard Truck as a tribute to Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel and will use their paint on the trailers and tractors and will be used for heavy loads.

ATS Transport was founded in Elko Nevada in 2018 as an attempt to salvage our assets from Aurora Trucking after the 1.25 Beta This profile was restarted recently as a backup and is no longer on the SCS servers. I started a new profile using the same name and colors. Our headquarters are in Elko, Nevada with our repair shop in Twin Falls, Idaho which will be owned by ATS Industries and this will be my primary profile on World of Trucks. So far we are trying to get out of debt and are almost out of the hole.

Union Transport is a new comer. We were founded in Bakersfield in 2019 and recently got out of debt. We have our own YouTube channel and post a video every few days. We currently have 270 drivers with plans for expansion. We are now in Twin Falls and now plan to expand. We will take the Union Transport name later this year as we rebrand our trucks.

My two test profiles are called ATS Industries and Insight I use them for mod testing and exploring and they are not connected to the SCS servers. The Insight brand has a long history in SCS games it was used in License to Kill which is a James Bond game where SCS provided the models based on the trucks used in the movie. Several of the trucks I have are W900s that were used in the film. Because of a dirty truck ban I do not store these in Los Angeles this profiles headquarters and I move them around. Recently SCS released the tankers that were used in the movie as part of the 1.45 update and I plan to paint up a special tribute truck for the anniversary of Kenworth which turns 100 in 2023 with the photo posted on my profiles on July 14,2022. The ATS Industries profile will be for testing mods and will be based in my home town of Twin Falls, Idaho I plan to bring other profiles online at a later date once I have the money.

My new primary profile is called Falcon Transport. We are Level 2 right now and only have two drivers with expansion to three once I have the money. Our headquarters are in Boise, Idaho with plans to move to Twin once we have enough money to hire a driver and open a new garage. Currently we have several truck payments to pay off and we are using used tractors until we have enough to buy updated equipment. Before I open Twin the used tractors will be sold at Level 20 and given to my Twin Falls Drivers before they are upgraded. Later I plan to buy everyone new equipment and older trucks will be sold used.

Recently I got several models in my garage that are approaching 5 years old and SCS is releasing new trucks after the 1.50 Update. because of this older trucks will need to be traded in for the new models, trucks bought at the Used Truck Dealers will need to be repaired and upgraded, and expired trucks and pre-emissions models will need to be sold so the newer models can take their place. Most of my used trucks head to my restoration shop in Lawton while the older ones are sold as is.

Euro Truck

I started in Euro Truck Simulator 2 on New Years Day 2021. Currently I have all the maps unlocked except Russia which is on hold because of the war in Ukraine. My new company in Europe is called GEAR our headquarters are in Bern Switzerland with most of our fleet made by DAF. Currently I am still exploring Europe and new terminals will come online once I have the funds.

Mods that I plan to reinstall will be in italics and mods that I plan to run until they are replaced will be underlined.   • ATS Radio Stations (Work in progress testing San Diego stations now to wrap up California will add stations from Arizona next. Revamping Las Vegas and removing old stations. Removing dead streams from the lexicon that are not defaults because Shoutcast and Radionomy have been shut down and broadcasters are working to restore the streams. Removing expired streams that are no longer broadcasting and sorting the list by genre. Will also go by frequency so I know what has been used and what stations I need to add.) (Working with Gabe on Steam to find the list and update it some are expired Tune In and Shoutcast links which don't work with Chrome or Firefox and some are HE2s and Ice streams which are not supported) (Added Arkansas with help from Gabe on Steam still looking for other streams) (Nebraska is next on the list still looking for their stations.)
