Release History

  • 30 November 2023:
    • In the Kansas release stream, Patrik mentions his next map project would be "one of the bordering states of Kansas", indicating Missouri, at this point the only state bordering Kansas that hasn't already been released or has been announced, would be the next state after Arkansas.[3]
    • Kansas DLC released and features a section of Interstate 35 and Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Missouri. There are in-game signs notifying truckers at the boundary.
  • 11 November 2023: Gameplay video of the Kansas DLC features a section of Interstate 35 and Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Missouri.[1]
  • 31 October 2023: The 1.49 Open Beta adds part of the city of Joplin in an unfinished rough manner which may signify that the state is in early development. [4]
  • 1 August 2023: In the Oklahoma release stream, Davido mentioned how he was moving to another state, a majority would be "surprised" at[5], inferring it deviates from regular release patterns (heading directly northward). Pavel also hints more "Route 66" and his goal to the Great Lakes, inquires that Missouri (or least likely Arkansas) could be a candidate, preferably over the Dakotas.
  • 22 June 2023: The Flag of Missouri has been added to the map editor in the update 1.47 Open Beta. Apart from that, there are no files in the game for Missouri.
  • 28 March 2023: Blog post about SCS' development of the Kansas DLC which includes a screenshot of the 1425 Oak Street building in Kansas City.[6]
