18 Wheels of Steel (sometimes abbreviated as 18 WoS) is a series of 3D trucking simulators developed by SCS Software and published by ValuSoft from 2002 to 2011 as a spin-off of Hard Truck.
Summary
18 Wheels of Steel became a successful series in which '18 Wheels of Steel: Across America' became ValuSoft’s best-selling trucking series, which sold in excess of 580,000 total units. [1] It inspired future trucking games from SCS Software such as 'Euro Truck Simulator 2' and particularly 'American Truck Simulator'.
