World of Trucks
World of Trucks is the online platform that complements Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
Description
It unlocks External Contracts and the External Cargo Market. These are jobs that are synced in real time with all players, meaning the same jobs show up for different people and generally no two people can take the same job. External Contracts is the World of Trucks counterpart of the Freight Market, while External Market is the WoT counterpart of the Cargo Market. Sometimes, event cargo can be taken, for example during the Christmas Wise Giving Event, there are jobs called "gifts" that become exclusively available during the event.

A Quick Guide
What To Do
- Sign up on World of Trucks.
- Link this account to one of your applicable games.
- In-game use Edit on a driver profile and then enter the same account details under Online account.
- In-game, continue a game then go to the Job Market and select External Contracts. Accepting the contract in-game will teleport you (including changing city if needs be) to the start of the contract.
- Once you have completed such a contract you will only be able to accept new ones with this last destination as the new origin. You will not be able to select a new origin on the web site, this is intentional.
Notes
- You cannot accept any contracts on the site; it is all in-game.
- Jobs that are expiring soon are shown in red.
Truck Profile
To get a truck profile uploaded you need to use the in-game screenshot manager to upload a picture of it.
