Saint Petersburg (Russian: Санкт-Петербург) is the second largest city in Russia that is featured in the Beyond the Baltic Sea map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

As a federal city, Saint Petersburg comprises its own administrative region of Russia and is not a part of the Leningrad Oblast, which fully surrounds the city.

Saint Petersburg is split up into several distinct parts, all of which are connected by the A118 ring road:

The Nevsky District in the east, located closest to the Saint Petersburg city center, contains a Baltic Logistic Transport warehouse and IKA Bohag market.
Shushary in the southeast contians a Nordic Cargo Handling warehouse.
Pulkovo in the south contains the Pulkovo Airport and a Sirin Air warehouse.
Lomonosov to the west contains a Balteus Yachts shipyard, Baltomorsk sawmill, Container Port, and PK Medved plant.
The Primorsky District in the north contains a Ladoga Auto factory.

In addition, there is a Finnish Tyres factory in Shcheglovo, and aa Radus concrete plant and Zelenye Polja crop farm in Staraya, both of which are located east of the city along the P21

Connections

The A118 forms a ring road which surrounds the entirety of Saint Petersburg, with several other motorways branching off in other directions:

The P21 runs east towards Staraya and Shcheglovo.
The P23 runs south to Luga and Pskov.
The A180 runs southwest towards Opol'ye, Ivangorod, and Narva.
The Western High-Speed Diameter (Russian: Западный скоростной диаметр) runs through the center of the city and heads north towards Vyborg and Finland (via the M10).
A minor road runs west to Sosnovy Bor.

Release History

In update 1.44, the AeroBaltica warehouse was replaced by a Sirin Air warehouse.
In update 1.46, a photo trophy was added to the city center.

Trivia

The achievement Concrete Jungle requires the player to complete 10 deliveries from Radus concrete plants in Beyond the Baltic Sea, one of which is in Saint Petersburg.
The achievement Like a Farmer requires the player to complete a delivery to at least 4 farms in Beyond the Baltic Sea, one of which is in Saint Petersburg.
With the release of the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC, Saint Petersburg became the game's easternmost city, taking the title from Białystok, Poland. This means Saint Petersburg currently has the title of the easternmost city in Euro Truck Simulator 2 including all available DLCs.
There is a memorial near the Baltic Logistic Transport depot dedicated to the late Egor Shaklein, a relative of the Russian SCS Software map designer Nikita Shaklein.
