Tampere
Tampere is a city located in southern Finland that is featured in the Beyond the Baltic Sea map expansion DLC in Euro Truck Simulator 2.[1]
Summary
It currently shares the status of the northernmost city in the game with Pori, surpassing Bergen from the Scandinavia DLC. Some signs in Sweden display their translation of Tampere: Tammerfors.[In-game screen needed]
Features
Depots
Tampere's city center is inaccessible. Only the area around the city center is accessible for truckers:
- The northwestern part (Myllypuro), features a Renar Logistik depot.
- To the south (Nokia), features a Finnish Tyres depot and a Viljo Paperitehdas Oy factory. To the south of Nokia, there is a Radus concrete plant.
- At the center (Lahdesjärvi), features only the IKA Bohag store.
- To the east (Linnainmaa), features an Suprema supermarket.
Only Lahdesjärvi and Nokia are explicitly signed as distinct towns in-game, while the other boroughs are only referenced on directional signs.
Facilities
- Northwestern: A garage and gas station in Myllypuro.
- Center: North of Lahdesjärvi, in the unsigned area of Pirkkala, there is another gas station and a rest stop.
Landmarks
The only known landmark in Tampere is the Nokianvirta River, located in Nokia.
Connections
- The runs south towards Helsinki.
- The runs southwest towards Turku.
- The runs west towards Pori.
- The runs east towards Lahti and Kouvola.
- Two minor roads extend south from the western side of Tampere, passing through Nokia before converging at Huittinen.

- Tampere is tied with Pori as the northernmost city in Euro Truck Simulator 2. If the Heart of Russia DLC is released, this title will be taken by Petrozavodsk.
