Peterbilt is an American truck manufacturer that is featured in American Truck Simulator.
Peterbilt was one of the first two truck companies in the game, the other being Kenworth. Compared to other trucks, Peterbilt models are quite cheap, making them a good option for beginners buying their first truck. The headquarters of Peterbilt are located in Denton, Texas. Peterbilt is owned by engine manufacturer Paccar, which also owns Kenworth in American Truck Simulator and DAF in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Starting from update 1.46, Peterbilt dealerships have become deliverable companies.
