Mercedes-Benz is a German truck manufacturing company and a subsidiary of Daimler Truck Holding AG.

The branding is used for luxury automobiles by the Mercedes-Benz Group AG, while the Daimler Truck Holding AG uses it for its buses, coaches, and trucks.

Summary

Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks were not originally in Euro Truck Simulator 2, as SCS Software needed the rights to Mercedes-Benz's logo and trucks. Before the rights were given to them in the update 1.18, Mercedes-Benz was known as Majestic (like in Euro Truck Simulator). Mercedes was also the last brand to give the rights to SCS. Mercedes-Benz trucks come in two generations, the Actros and the New Actros. On September 4, 2019, the Actros Tuning Pack DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been released. It adds many new customizations for the Actros and the New Actros.

Since update 1.49 you can buy the model Actros only from the truck dealers as long as you have one in your posession, but you have to buy one initially from the used truck dealer.
