Cruising Wyoming

Cruising Wyoming was an event held by SCS Software through the World of Trucks platform featured in American Truck Simulator. The event started on September 7, 2021 and ended on December 7, 2021. It was the fourth WoT event to directly coincide a DLC release, involving American Truck Simulator: Wyoming.

Initially the event was planned to last for one month, but on November 7, 2021, SCS announced an extension of the event until December 7, 2021.

Rules

• All American Truck Simulator players with a World of Trucks-connected profile may participate in the event.
• To participate in the event, a player must make deliveries through external contracts to / from any city in Wyoming, namely:

• • Casper
  • Cheyenne
  • Evanston
  • Gillette
  • Jackson
  • Laramie
  • Rawlins
  • Riverton
  • Rock Springs
  • Sheridan

• Deliveries must have a distance of 100 miles each (161 km) or more to count.

Mission Objective

• To achieve the personal goal, each individual player must make at least one deliveries to or from each city in Wyoming.
• All players that completed a delivery to or from Gillette received a Triceratops plush item Steam inventory item for their cabin. This was the first "Cruising" event for ATS that had a special reward.
• The community goal requires all participating players to conducting deliveries such that their distances add up to 80,000,000 miles (128,747,520 km) or more.

Release History

• September 6, 2021: Blog post to announce the release of the event.
• September 18, 2021: Announcement that the community goal had been reached, and the continuation of event until November 7, 2021.
• November 7, 2021: Announcement that the event had been extended until December 7, 2021.
• December 10, 2021: Official announcement that the event had been ended.
