Steering Wheel Roll-Out
Steering Wheel Roll-Out was an event held by SCS Software through the World of Trucks platform, covering both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. The event started on October 25, 2021 and ended on November 7, 2021. The event was part of the promotion campaign for the (then) newly released Thrustmaster T248 Steering Wheel.
Summary
SCS announced the event in a blog post dated 25 October 2021, with the end date being 7 November 2021[1]. The event was concurrent with the larger Thrustmaster® T248 Giveaway event.
The event's conclusion was announced on 9 November 2021, along with the winners of the giveaway event. According to SCS, the number of participants had reached 100,000 and the number of deliveries made totaled at over 380,000 and the mileage added up to 2 million km (around 1.24 million miles)[2].
Prerequisites
To participate, a trucker must possess the following:
- A copy of Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator (No DLC was necessary).
- An in-game profile connected to a World of Trucks account.
Rules
- Participating truckers must complete at least 5 deliveries of "T248 Steering Wheels" trailers with External Contracts on either Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator.
- Deliveries must at the (assigned) length of 248 km (154 miles) or above.
